Danfoss Editron
This partnership is with one of the premier suppliers of electric motors in the marine industry. From yachts to ferries to ships, Danfoss Editron has done it all... multiple times. With our extensive controls and robotics background, we have vetted this complete system and found that it is one of the best electric propulsion systems out there for this size yacht.
When we think of hydrogen electric technology on the water, we immediately think of the original Energy Observer research vessel that has traveled the world on sustainable energy. They have taken all the information learned from this vessel and applied it to EODev with the confidence of real-world testing for hydrogen power on a yacht. With Toyota's investment in EODev and supplying their fuel cell for the REXH2, our yachts are in good hands using one of the most efficient and most tested fuel cells in the world. We are proud to have EODev's REXH2 to power our vessel.

We have designed a vessel that is capable of assisted docking using hydrogen energy. It takes an open-minded veteran in the marine industry to say yes and successfully design this into the controls at the helm. We are excited to say Glendenning, as our first choice, agreed to take on the challenge. Glendenning has been designing controls for the marine industry since 1953 and has designed the joystick that allows Danfoss Editron's electric motors to speak to our Raymarine Docksense system. We are excited to have this type of experience on the team.

A yacht that can create its own energy and the freedom to travel anywhere in the world sometimes still wants a place to come 'home' to. Sunset Reef St. Kitts is a big part of the ecosystem here at Hystream Yachts. Much of the same sustainable technology applied in our yachts is also shared with this sustainable resort on the Caribbean side of the island. They boast a first-class restaurant and beach bar with moorings and a floating dock to welcome you to the island. Sunset Reef has the first of its kind geothermal system using the heat from the villas to also cool the rooms, heat the pool, and provide endless hot water for guests. They take it a step further and provide filtered drinking water from the rainforest in each room, solar and wind for power, and a water recapture system to drip irrigate the gardens on the property. This is a place for Hystream Yachts to rendezvous and enjoy the amenities of the resort in a grand fashion.
